South Side Reading Center has a holistic approach to learning. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach to learning. We have a team with Orton Gillingham tutors, a Speech Pathologist, and we team with local physiologist. We work together, with the parents, devise a systematic, structured plan for reading success for each child. Our Orton Gillingham tutoring services, utilize a multi-sensory approach to learning how to read. We aim to build confidence, grow in reading ability, and have fun.
We offer one on one services. Our OG tutoring is a minimum of twice a week. Our tutoring studio is filled with multi-sensory tools. We have balance chairs to keep bodies moving during a sitting lesson. We also utilize trampolines. During our phoneme learning, we use sand, slime, and shaving cream to get the sounds solidified in the brain synapses
Let us instill in our students that they are good enough, smart enough, trying hard enough, and motivated enough to excel. In doing so " learning takes off, knowledge escalates, and performance soars." This is the life of excellence.

SouthSide Reading Tutor came out of seeing a desire for students to learn how to read and foster a love of reading.
At SouthSide Reading Tutor we desire to see students build confidence in themselves. We champion students with all abilities to see success. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience, where your child has a unique and specialized plan for their success. We use a multisensory approach to teaching.
